Reflections from the Heart... Poetry by Fificat
Fly High

Flight

I clipped on the silver tipped wings, hidden in a box under my bed and flew to the farthest planet.
I put sunbeam wax in my ears and covered my eyes with twinkle stars I gathered along the way, stuffing my mouth with white foamy clouds that seemed to disolve too fast.

"I wish I may, I wish I might, Please, please miss me tonight".

Silence...He never knew I was gone.

Memories
sunshine

They Laughed...The sunburnt as if to restrain their desires.

Tranquility surrounded them...mocking.

Fluttering gentle wind...carrassing, clutching memories that never die...

Changes

"I"

Scared, I raced forward plowing thru weed, pushing aside thoughts as I stumbled, thrashing on-

burying the turmoil deep inside, uprooting all, except the root...
